Jami’s Story
Jami loved life. He was a talented athlete, loyal friend, loving brother and son. He had a sister and six brothers, including his best friend and twin brother — Jesse. Jami was compassionate. To friends, classmates, and even strangers who were bullied or less fortunate, Jami would take them under his wing, or provide them with food, rides, and friendship — whatever they needed. he was a living angel.
Tragically Jami lost his life in a single car accident on August 10, 2022 at the young age of 18. He had just graduated from high school and had his entire life in front of him. Alcohol was involved when he crashed into a tree just seconds from home. The Jamison Proulx Memorial Fund was established in 2024 to honor the life of Jamison Proulx.
Jami’s plan to go to college in the fall was cut short, but he understood that the path to higher education came with financial burdens that are not manageable for everyone. Jami’s fund will provide scholorships to local students attending trade schools, colleges, or universities.
Jami also loved music and knew it’s relevance in lifting the soul and connecting with others. Accordingly, Jami’s Fund will also provide musical instruments to high school music departments.
